Dr. Tanner Hauptman is a general dentist committed to providing compassionate, patient centered care while helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Originally from Denver,Colorado, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Colorado State University. Dr. Hauptman received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as both Class President and Student Body President. During dental school, he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship for Academic and Clinical Excellence and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
Following dental school, Dr. Hauptman completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System’s Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. There, he received advanced training in implant dentistry, restorative dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, root canaI therapy, oraI surgery, and comprehensive treatment planning.
Dr. Hauptman is passionate about continuing to expand his knowledge and skills to provide the highest level of care for his patients. He takes pride in building lasting relationships and helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental experience. Dr. Hauptman resides in Chicago’s western suburbs with his wife, Alexa, and their son, Walker James.
